Welcome to my User Interviews review!

If you are searching for paid online studies, then I have a great website for you to learn more about today – User Interviews.

There are many consumer research companies that pay people like you and me to share their opinions. Companies then use these opinions and feedback to improve their products and services.

Pinterest, Spotify, GoPro, Intuit, Macy’s, Home Depot, Trip Advisor, and more use User Interviews to gather feedback from users about their latest products, apps, and websites. In exchange, participants make $50 to $100 per hour or more for sharing their opinions and feedback.

This User Interviews review is going to explain what this site is, how it works, and how you can earn extra money by sharing your opinions – which is one of the things I did in order to make extra money to quickly pay off my student loan debt.

Back when I was paying off my student loans, I did a lot of things to make extra money – I sold items on eBay, managed social media for companies, mystery shopped, and took paid online studies.

The online surveys didn’t make me rich, but they helped me have a little bit of extra money so that I could pay my bills. And, taking online surveys was flexible too – I could do them from home, on my lunch break, on the weekends, whenever.

I am so grateful for the surveys I was able to take years ago, and now there are even more survey companies so even more people can make money online with surveys.

Being able to make extra money in my spare time helped me a lot.

See, I was so busy back then – between going to school full-time and working full-time, I didn’t have time to work a traditional part-time job. Instead, I found several smaller flexible jobs, such as taking surveys. These allowed me to make extra money in my spare time, and I didn’t have to commute somewhere and have a strict work schedule.

In today’s User Interviews review, I am going to tell you about a newer company – User Interviews. Even though it’s newer than some of the other market research companies, it has already become known as one of the best options.

Here’s a quick summary of my User Interviews review: User Interviews recruits participants to answer surveys and share their feedback. They pay you for sharing your opinion, and they pay a good amount (such as $100 for one hour of your time).

What is User Interviews?

With User Interviews, you get paid to share your opinions. You simply share your feedback on real products, and get paid well!

User Interviews launches over 2,000 studies monthly, with over 77,000 people being paid in the last year.

It takes less than a day, on average, to qualify for your first study too.

With User Interviews, you share your opinions with some of the top companies, such as Pinterest, Spotify, Adobe, Vistaprint, Home Depot, TripAdvisor, and more.

For example, one of the studies you may qualify for is testing a new travel app. The company who created the app may want to know things like how their app helps customers, if customers would use it again, what would make the app better, and more.

After using the travel app, you will be asked to share your experience and opinions in a series of interviews. Because this is valuable information for the company – User Interviews helps companies make better products and services – you get paid $125 for 60 minutes of your time.

Another kind of job may be sharing your opinion of online shopping, which is a current study being conducted for $100 for 90 minutes of your time.

User Interviews pays a good amount to get your feedback as you can see.

How do I sign up for User Interviews?

Here’s the User Interviews sign up process:

  1. You simply click here to sign up
  2. Complete short surveys to see if you qualify
  3. Sign up for sessions and participate in feedback on real products
  4. Get paid

The sign-up process is very easy, and you should be honest when you’re answering questions about yourself so you can be matched with the best studies.

They will ask you basic and demographic questions such as where do you work, your date or birth, ethnicity, household income, marital status, and if you have a computer with a webcam (this is required for most studies).

You can also connect your account with LinkedIn, your Facebook profile, and more.

User Interviews is open to those living in the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and South Africa.

How does User Interviews work?

After you are signed up, you will receive email invitations when you qualify for a new study.

They also have a studies page on their website where you can see what studies are currently recruiting participants. Then, after you apply, the researcher will review the applications that they received.

If the researcher chooses you, then you will receive an email asking you to schedule a time to be interviewed, as well as more information on the study (such as the study details, instructions, and how the interview will be conducted).

What types of studies are available on User Interviews? How are studies conducted?

User Interviews has many different ways that they conduct their studies, so you have many options.

Whether you want to share your opinions over the phone, on webcam, or in-person, there are options for all.

The different types of interviews may include:

  • 1-on-1 interviews: These studies are held between a researcher and one participant at a time. They can be held online, in-person, or over the phone.
  • Focus groups: These studies involve a group discussion including at least 2 people. They are typically held in-person, but can be held online.
  • Multi-day studies: These studies span the course of multiple days with varying time commitments, which should be laid out in the description.
  • Unmoderated tasks: These studies require completion of a task that can be completed at any time before the deadline.

The company/researcher will decide how they want their study conducted. It may be online, over the phone, in-person, or in-home.

How much can you make with User Interviews? How much does User Interviews pay?

As you noticed above, User Interviews pays very well for your time.

The average online focus group on User Interviews pays over $65 for your time.

After quickly browsing their available surveys, I saw anywhere from around $30 for minutes of my time, to $200 for an hour of my time. The amount you are paid depends on how much time and effort you are required to put into the study.

There are many, many available studies too.

Occasionally, User Interviews does offer bonuses and incentives as well. For example, you may earn money by sending a friend over as a referral to User Interviews. You can give $10 and earn $10 by referring aa friend to join the User Interviews market research platform. You can also earn $40 and give $40 by referring a friend to a featured study that is currently accepting referrals.

How do I get paid on User Interviews?

Payments for participating on User Interviews may be either in cash, check, PayPal, Amazon gift cards or Visa gift cards, etc. User Interviews call payments “incentives.”

The company decides how you will be paid, and it will be noted once a study is confirmed. User Interviews encourages companies to send incentives to users within 10 days of completing the study.

Is Userinterviews.com legit? Is User Interviews safe? Is User Interviews a reliable site?

Yes! User Interviews is a legitimate company and they pay you for real online focus groups.

This wouldn’t be a good User Interviews review without answering this question, and it’s something I hear a lot when talking about paid surveys and studies.

User Interviews is a recruiting platform that helps researchers find participants for market research studies. Companies come to User Interviews with studies and pay User Interview to find participants.

User Interviews launches over 500 studies monthly, with over 40,000 people being paid in the last year. That is a lot of User Interviews participants!

I dug deep to find User Interviews company reviews online, and they were all positive. User Interviews is a well-liked market research company that pays well.

You can find real User Interviews reviews here on Reddit too.

How likely is it that I will get picked for User Interviews studies?

It all depends on what researchers are looking for, and to be picked, you will have to meet the demographics for the study. It’s unlikely that you will be a good fit for every survey or study.

Researchers set criteria for their studies, including age, gender, income level, where you live, level of education, type of job you have, whether or not you have kids, etc.

User Interviews will only match you with studies where you fit the criteria. This is very important for researchers. To get accurate results, they need to choose the right people for their studies.

User Interviews says that it may take a little while to be selected for your first paid study, and that you can expect to be approved for 1-2 studies every six months.

How can I get picked for more paid studies?

While User Interviews has many available studies, you may find that it’s harder for you to get accepted to one.

If that’s the case, here are some User Interview tips:

  • Make sure your profile on User Interviews is up to date – if you move, have kids, start making more money, or have any major life changes that could affect which studies you qualify for, update your demographic information in your profile
  • Connect your social media accounts (such as a Facebook profile or a LinkedIn profile) to your User Interviews profile
  • Be honest with your responses
  • Check your email for new studies
  • Browse upcoming paid studies and complete screener surveys

User Interviews does have other policies as well. They don’t want you to waste your interviewer’s time, so they ask that you give at least 36 hours for cancellations/reschedules, and that you arrive on time. If you are late to multiple interviews, this will hurt your profile and you may be prevented from joining future studies on User Interviews. The same goes for no shows – you definitely want to make sure that the time you schedule works for you.

What kind of questions will you be asked?

When taking part in a market research study, you will be asked many different kinds of questions. These could be things related to what you like to eat, your birthday, your favorite movie, feedback on a product (such as a website or a mobile app), and more.

Survey companies ask these kinds of questions because they are trying to figure out what people want – hence the surveys.

Remember, you are helping them with market research.

You should always be honest when answering questions because the survey companies want people who actually fit what they are looking for.

Being honest in your answers is important to maintain your account on User Interviews too. You run the risk of being flagged or having your account suspended from future studies if they find that your questionnaire responses have been falsified.

Looking for more paid market research companies to sign up for?

If you’re reading my User Interview review and wondering what other options are available, there are lots. You will want to sign up for as many as you can to earn the most money.

This is because each market research company will only send you surveys and studies that you can participate in every so often, so the more companies you sign up with, then the more money you may be able to make.

Below are more survey companies I recommend looking into:

  1. American Consumer Opinion
  2. Swagbucks
  3. Survey Junkie
  4. InboxDollars
  5. Opinion Outpost
  6. OneOpinion
  7. Pinecone Research
  8. Prize Rebel

When I was making extra money from surveys, I made it work for me by signing up for as many online survey sites as I could. Due to that, I was able to complete at least a few surveys each week.

There were many times when I would receive an easy $100 cash out from completing surveys in a one-month period. The work is really easy. It can all be done from home, on your own schedule and timeline, so it’s a win-win!

If you start signing up for lots of survey sites, your email inbox can start to get very cluttered. A way to lessen the clutter is to start a separate email address simply dedicated to the paid online survey companies that you have signed up for. This can help keep you more organized, but make sure you check it on a regular basis.

I personally prefer gift cards at stores I already shop at. It’s a great way to treat myself at the end of a long week – or, I can keep the gift cards for the holiday season so I save money on holiday shopping!
