One of the top blog posts I look forward to each month from other bloggers is their income reports. However they earn a living, I am always extremely excited to read about their business.

I love seeing how people are earning money, how much they’re making, what new things they’re trying, and more.

Reading them each month is very motivating.

As you know, every month I publish an online income report, which shows how I earn over $50,000 a month through my blogI publish these for many reasons.

Before I started blogging, I knew nothing about side hustling and making money online. I didn’t think side hustles were worth the time, and I thought the only way to really increase your income was through your day job by raises and promotions. If it weren’t for others publishing their income reports each month, I don’t know if I would have ever attempted side hustling.

I want to help others see the positives in side hustling and how it can change your life. After all, it allowed me to pay off my student loans in just 7 months, quit my job, be my own boss, travel full-time and more. Now, I’m happier than ever!

I also like to publish my monthly income reports because it is a great way for me to reflect on the previous month, learn from any mistakes I may have made, and to see what areas I need to start working harder in.

I believe these reasons are why a lot of other bloggers choose to share their monthly earnings as well. It’s a great motivator, and it shows that you can actually make money doing something you enjoy.

Smart Passive Income – $176,649.93

SPI publishes one of my favorite income reports each month, and Pat is my role model. He makes a crazy amount of money. When I say crazy, I mean it. He makes over $100,000 each MONTH through his blog and the related services he provides.

In January, he earned $176,649.93.

Pat was laid off in 2008, and I think it was probably a good thing to happen to him. He was able to put more time towards his blog, and it all grew quickly from there. His blog is a must-read if you want to earn a living online or be your own boss.

  1. Hi, may I ask how could I be included in this income report? Lots of motivation here 🙂

    Anthony.

    1. Do you publish income reports?

  2. Mrs. CTC

I love to read how other people earn an income online. Just like you a few years ago, I just recently learned that this is a possibility at all.

Thanks for posting this overview, I will most certainly check the reports out (from 600K to 4 cents, love it).

  3. These bloggers are truly inspiration to people like me not just in the money perspective but also in the contents that they publish week after week.

Thank you for posting this information. This makes me and a lot of people feel like that we have a shot at earning money through blogging and, at the same time, putting into words our thoughts and experiences that people may find valuable in their everyday lives. (Hopefully, I made a correct assumption when saying “me and a lot of people”) 🙂

  4. I’m excited about this roundup! I haven’t heard of a lot of these bloggers, so I’ll be checking them for extra inspiration. Thanks!

  5. As a blogger, I am saving this post for future reference. Whenever I need inspiration and motivation, I love looking at income reports. Thanks for putting this together!

  6. Thanks for including me, Michelle!

  7. This is fantastic. A lot of my favorite bloggers all in one spot! I haven’t tried to do anything with online income (yet?!), but it’s really inspiring to read about all the possibility.

    1. Thanks! Have you thought about trying?

  8. Those income posts are always motivating.

  9. Thanks for putting this together Michelle and including me! It’s so inspiring to see other people earning money strategically and by doing what that love.

  10. Stefanie OConnell

I love love LOVE this. I have yet to reach any kind of consistency in my blogging income. Some months are five figures and some months can be as low as three. I look forward to building more consistent income streams in 2016!

    1. Wish you the best of luck. You can do it!

  11. Katjleen

Love this!! I’m a brand new blogger and it’s great to see people who are making an amazing income all the way to the ones just starting out. It gives me a lot of hope!!

  12. I love having all these reports in one spot! I am also super inspired to grow and learn from all the smart and amazing bloggers ahead of me. Thank you so much for sharing!

  13. Oh wow, this is AWESOME. Thanks for including me. I love how there are so many bloggers that do many different things to earn income. I don’t know any other job that allows you room to grow so much. Bookmarking this for sure so I can check out some bloggers I’m not as familiar with. Love it!

  14. I LOVE how you included the $0.04! It was really classy of you to include the bloggers who are just getting started or aren’t churning out the mega bucks like Pat Flynn or John Lee Dumas. I mean, those guys are killing it, though. But it also gives the rest of us encouragement as we start rolling in a few pennies while we get the hang of things. 🙂

  15. Monica@wellideclare

This is awesome! Thank you so much for posting. There will be no netflix watching tonight in this house! I will be going through each blog and learning little lessons. As someone who is new to all of this, I can’t say enough about the wealth of information and encouragement that I find here! I was very proud of my two cents that I made in February. I am on track to possibly make $5.00 this month! I mean….How exciting! 😉

  16. I completely agree with some of the other comments – I love how you’re sharing a variety of incomes. It’s also great to have them in a roundup like this. Super helpful. Thanks, Michelle!

  17. Anne Gannon

Such an inspiration to see both large and small bloggies! Great post!

  18. Wow! So amazed to be included in this list.

I have a long way to go in the blog income stakes but who cares, I’m loving the journey. 🙂

    Thank you Michelle!

    1. The journey is fun, right? 🙂

  19. Vic @ Dad Is Cheap

    Thanks for sharing Michelle!

I only blog part time as it’s hard for me to post consistently, especially when right now it because it’s more hobby than business potential at this point. I would love to be able to do a fraction of what all these bloggers do! This is inspiring. Thanks again!

  25. Justin

  28. Amy @ DebtGal

Thanks for putting this together. It’s great to see the range of incomes and ways people earn them.

  29. PiiGirl

    Hi Michelle,

I have just started blogging, but have had a niche site going for 5 months now. I started publishing monthly income reports once I hit $100.

    Thank you
    PiiGirl

    1. Hello!

I’m not updating this current post but I’ll add you to the next one 🙂

      1. PiiGirl

        Thank you!

  30. I love reading blog income reports. It is what motivated me to get serious about mine. I pulled in over $10,700 in a month recently and I fully credit it to the things I learned from income reports. My latest income report is here – http://busymommymedia.com/blog-income-report-made-10700-last-month-working-home/

  31. Michelle

Hi Michelle! I love reading income reports. It’s what inspired me to turn my blog into a real business and start making money with it. Until I saw others doing the same, I had no idea it was even possible. So motivating. And, it’s inspired me to start sharing my income reports too!

    – Michelle

  32. This is super encouraging! This past month I made my first $59.77- my first pay from the blog after launching earlier this year. Hoping to remain consistent and put in the work to see that number grow. Thanks for the inspiration!

  33. This proves that bloggers can earn a full income just from blogging. Well done.

  34. Impressive reports, Why don’t you include yourself Michelle?

  35. I love seeing the huge numbers that some people publish as this shows what’s possible… even if not all of us will achieve that.

What’s more exciting to me though are the smaller hitters who have carved out an income for themselves. This is no mean feat.

Making a living (or a little on the side for that matter) from your own efforts is something to celebrate truly and I applaud ALL the bloggers on this list (and those not on it!) who are doing it for themselves!

  36. whoah! so cool.. and then there’s me over here, with my Los Angeles lifestyle + travel blog, just writing to write.

I hope to join your income report list one day soon! I’d never heard of this before.
